The Youngest Child Syndrome

Actually i planned on the next blog i wanted to write abt latest update on the girls. I probably, if i don't just end my entry like the last one where everyone wondering where i ended up going, write about them later. Now, i just want to share some of my gatherings on the youngest child personality. Last Tuesday, i had a great time with mom-on-the-loose and mommy at home. I picked up MOTL and kids and we met up MAH and baby at IK*a. Thank you sooooo much for meeting up the very last minute!!! Ok so after the meet up, i tumpang MOTL's house for prayers and while waiting for hubskin to finish work. One of the conversation is about the youngest kid as in anak bongsu.

I think everybody knew for a fact that youngest child is the most spoilest child. They get the most attention and extra tender loving care from the parents compared to the other children. Not sure whether it's a human nature for the parents to spoil them or they just getting older and don't have the energy to lecture or scream and yell to them. Ok the reason why i'm writing about this is because today the youngest child of the house just annoyed me. Tonite, the cousins next door is having a kenduri so MIL is busy helping out since morning till now. She came back just for a while for Zohor prayer. Before she went there this morning she told me there's some chicken if i want to cook. Bila MIL dah ckp mcm tu of course it means i have to cook la kan. So this SIL#3 woke special early this morning. She knew about the kenduri and of course she shuld know that MIL will be busy helping out. No one in this house is going to cook except me but i've 3 kids to handle too. She just simply said she's going out today when MIL asked her to watch the girls while i cook. MIL was quite pissed with her too.

I remembered last week, when FIL was nagging about her going out, she simply said and i quote "alaa.. ni last la adik keluar. lps ni dah kerja bila lak nak keluar..." and this morning when MIL was nagging, she said "arini je la dpt keluar. nti dah kerja dah tak boleh kaluar lg dah..." Ok i know la she'll have to work on shift after this but 2 weeks in a row just for that reasons don't you think it's too much. Dah la dia tau how busy it's going to be when there's a kenduri. Mcm la dia baru je tinggal sini. I yg baru few months tinggal sini pun dah tau the routine.

Compared her to my youngest sis of course she has a few good attitude that i like. When she's around she knows to do the house work like cleaning and sweeping. Although, when she does that nti mulut pun bising coz the kids make a lot of mess afterwards. Unlike my sis who would sleep till God knows when. And when she's finally wakes up, she'll just get ready to go out. Lg la sakit hati kan. My elder sis is also having the same annoying problem with her youngest SIL. She always told me about it. It seems almost everyday ada je cerita psl dia. I hope none of you who reads this is a youngest child.

Ok now some updates on the girls. Kakak is such a chatter box. She loves to talk to herself and sometimes sing. Kdg2 tu entertaining gak but other times tu annoying la pulak. She's not fully potty trained. She'll still request for diaper when she wants to poop. She just can't wait to go to school. She has this bagpack which hubs bought in Bangkok the other day. I bought her some activity books while i was at P*pular bookstore, Ikan* with MOTL. She packed all the books in the backpack and pretended that she was going to school. She's still very attached to me. I just can't go anywhere without her even to pray. Unless if hubs is around mmg la i tak boleh gerak pegi mana2.

Marsya is turning 1 this coming Friday. She still refuse to walk on her own and still doesn't has any teeth. Sigh! But she can cruise all around the house by just crawling very fast! And her fav thing to do recently is climbing. She climbs on the sofas, table, stools, you name it. Mmg lasak! With this big belly of mine, to chase her all around the house is so tiring. Oh! She also loves to kutip all the small stuffs and put it in her mouth. She especially loves to kutip rokok. Either the butt or the whole rokok. She just go gaga when she sees a cig box.

That's about it for now. It's so hot. I feel like taking all my clothes off. Oh how i wish i culd do that. How i wish i'm at my own house. BBFN.
