Prophet Sall-Allahu alaihi wa sallam said:
"All of you are shepherds, and each one is responsible for his flock.
A leader of people is a shepherd over this family, and he is responsible for his flock.
A woman is like a shepherd over her husband's house and children, and she is responsible for them.
And a slave is a guardian of his master's property and is responsible for it.
So all of you are guardians and are responsible for your charges." Al- Bukhari and Muslim.

P.E.N.A.T

Yes, that is my state of condition right now... cepat penat.

I'm now in week 33. My daily routine includes 2 naps and frequent meals. Right now, my weight is 70.5 kg. I feel very heavy. Every morning, after breakfast with my hub, I will take my 1st nap. He'll look after the 2 girls while i'm napping. About 10am (if the hubby is not working) or 9 ish (if the hubby is working), i'll wake up and start doing some chores, prepare things to cook for lunch, laundry, some cleaning up etc. Oh, i also have to monitor the 2 girls bathe themselves. Yes, they can do that already, or they just have to, but i still have to make sure that they do it properly.

Starts today, the hub drive himself to work and fetch Mia from school. I still tergelak everytime teringat the conversation i had with him the other day.

Hub: I rasa nanti biar i la jemput mia balik. Leceh la nak suruh u hantar & amik i balik kerja.
Me: Apa yang membuat u ada 'kesedaran' ni
Hub: Ye la, dah u pun dah terboyot-boyot mcm ni.....
Me: Oh.. so u dah sedar la yang i dah terboyot-boyot... hehehehehe

So, i'm a bit relax now. No rush to send him to work every morning. Now, i can just concentrate on the kids and the house work.

Around 12ish, i'll give the 2 girls their lunch. After Zuhur, i'll give mia her lunch. Once lunch is over, give the 2 girls their milk, wait for a while to make sure they don't nap (evil mom!) and by 2.30 let them watch their cartoon, while i make my way to bed for my 2nd nap. Luckily, mia has been very responsible in monitoring the sisters. She'll alert me if they are doing something fishy. Luckily also, the girls understand very well that the mommy needs some rest.

Once got up from my 2nd nap, terus lapar so i must grab some snacks. By 6, all my girls siap mandi and already in their PJs. Alhamdulillah, that really ease my task a bit when they can handle bath time themselves. 6.30pm, dinner time and 7pm mengaji. My hubby insisted that i make this a permanent routine. I've started teaching the other 2 girls too. When hub is around he'll monitor mia's reading. She has started Quran already. I stopped her at Iqra' book 4 and then taught her some basic surah. She came back from school 1 day and read Al Baqarah. I was shocked! She said she started reading that during tasmik in school. See, i don't think KAFA or SRA really a necessary, when whatever they learn in SK is sufficient enough. As parent, we just need to monitor, apply what they've learnt and also to give more input to them.

By 8.30pm, the 2 girls are in bed. Mia has to wait for Isya' and goes to bed by 9pm. Then mommy has the TV, lappy and the whole house to herself! Bliss :-)

Since i got pregnant with this one, i rarely go out shopping or just window-shopping. Not sure why. Just plain lazy to walk around the mall. I'm even lazy to drive around. When the hub was away the other day, my routine was send mia to school-home-fetch mia-home. Memang malas sangat nak keluar with the kids especially when i think about handling them by myself in public. Nanti ada je yang nak ke toilet, lepas sorg sorg.

If ada yang volunteer to take this heavy mak buyung out with her 3 kids, this mak buyung tak tolak. Like the other day, my good friend Mrs R, fetch me and brought us to visit our friend, Mrs Keanu, who just gave birth to baby no.3. Thx so much dear!

Then went out with my sis. First, was on Saturday. I went out with her sans kids! Bliss. My hub who just came back from his journey, was at home and willing to babysit the girls. My sis and her kids and me went to Section 7 Shah Alam. My sis insisted to buy some tudung at Ariani. 2nd outing was on Friday. This time with my kids. To Jalan TAR we went. My sis memborong tudung lagi, at An Nasuha owned by my another good friend's sister & dad. Memang berbaloi beli tudung kat situ, i tell you! My sis paid RM190 for roughly about 8 tudungs?? The other day at Ariani, she paid RM150 for just couple of tudungs. Giler mahal.

Oh! The outing was so tiring. With AJ and her tantrums yang dah boring tunggu my sis dok pilih2 tudung. With the walking from 1 end to the other. Parked car at the parking lot near KWSP/Coliseum cinema. Walk from there to this good friend's shop (but she wasn't there at that time). Then walked passed a few shops to An Nasuha. Then walked again back to friend's shop (she's still not there yet sebab tengah park kereta). We brought all kids upstairs to the toilet. Kat sini je dah penat. Bawa budak masuk, buang air & cuci, after one and another. Sigh!

Finally, turun bawah, dapat juga jumpa this good friend. Sempat la borak2 kejap. Then we walked again to the KFC. My sis' older girls insisted to eat at their 1st floor. But as i climbed the stairs, i smelt something very................ busuk/masam/kepam!! My 1st thought, the cleaner ni tak basuh ke mop before they moped the floor. But when i reached there, i found out what actually make that smell. There were over 10 kids, footballers to be exact, who just came back from practice! Stinks man!

Immediately told my sis to go back down sebab memang tak tahan bau. I don't care la if kat bawah tak banyak tempat duduk. Back downstairs, the que panjang berjela. Stood there with my sis about 15 mins or more kot. Sakit kaki and kelaparan! Finally got our foods so makan dah tak ingat apa dah.

After lunch, we went next 2 doors to Minerva bookstore. One of the oldest bookstore in KL kan?? Still standing there. I saw the book that i've been eyeing online from the poster outside the shop. Al Barqy. Found out from Islamic Parenting Group in FB, that this book among other, is recommended by most of the moms. I thot to grab 1 set. But i took a sneak peek inside the package. It looked complicated. Maybe, i don't see it or manage to actually go through it in detail. I opted for the 2nd recommended by them, Al Furqan. I fell in love with it instantly and it cost cheaper than AB.

Then, from Minerva, walked back to the car. On the way there I remembered another thing that I should never leave Jalan TAR without. You see, when you live far away from KL and coming to KL is like really troublesome that you ended up going there once in blue moon, there are few things that you should never miss.

1. Drop by Sireh Inai shop - they sell ready made baju kurung at very reasonable price. VERY reasonable!
2. Drop by An Nasuha shop - to match your baju kurung with matching tudungs, here's the place. VERY cheap tudungs with nice designs. They even have tudungs for kids. So far, i don't have any complaints.
3. Minerva bookstore - books that you can't find in Popular or MPH, try here. You'll never know your luck. Especially, islamic books.
4. Sogo - one of the huge shopping mall there. Wide selections of brands. Plus they have cozy foodcourt. Wanted to have a look at their selection on baby items and also thought of having lunch there, that day. But mak buyung memang tak larat nak jalan sampai sana :-(
5. Last but not least, don't you ever... ever... leave Jalan TAR without having the best shawarma kebab! It's just a stall behind a bus stop just before the traffic light near SSF. It's a must have!

So yes! I walked across and wait in line (again) to buy that yummylicious kebab! I'm a happy mak buyung! Then walked back (happily) to the car. It was really a tiring journey! Lenguh2 satu badan. But all worth it.

Then, yesterday, my hub told me that he wants to go find a work pants. Then i asked him whether he's planning to go alone. Then he asked me whether i wanted to follow. Mula2 macam malas but since dia dah offer and the kids pun jarang dapat keluar so i took the offer.

Planned to go after Zuhur. Waited for him, tak balik2. Texted him to ask jadi ke. He said jadi but dia tengah jumpa one of our neighbour who just came back from Umrah. Tunggu punya tunggu, sampai mata pun dah kuyu. It's my nap time kan. Just can't take it anymore, even try playing games online didn't worked, golek2 on the bed and zzzzzz. Around 3.30ish, the hub called and said he's waiting downstairs. Kelam kabut bersiap and asked the kids to dress up sendiri.

Arrived Empire around 4pm. Straight went to the shop. Hubby to his pants shop while the girls and i to popular. Then hubby didn't find any good pants and we didn't find good books either so terus turun heading back to car park. Just 2 brief stops, whisk to get the red velvet that i've been craving since early pregnancy and my news store to get snacks for kids. Then off back home. Reached home at about 5pm! Sekejap je kan.... but penatnya!!! Oh, balik tu sempat lagi masak cekodok. Ever since i saw a friend who lives in Aussie posted the pix of her cekodok in FB, i terus crave & been browsing for the best recipe to make them. So sempat la buat semalam. Tapi memang penatnya lebih kurang sama je dengan penat berjalan kat jalan tar tu.

Conclusion, memang cepat penat! Now, i need to golek2 in front of the tv. Till then ladies!

PS: I planned to continue the post about Para Isteri Rasulullah SAW but not sure when. InsyaAllah, i'll try to find the time.

Is It A Boy or Girl?

Hahahaha... It's almost the same post I wrote about 4 years ago HERE ;-)

Believe it or not, if I already have at least a boy, I wouldn't have to face this question again. Not only I was frequently asked by people i met but also by myself, over.. and over... and over again. The only person that has the answer is only Allah SWT.

During my last visit to my gynae, I was over 20 weeks pregnant. We had an ultrasound but she couldn't tell the gender because the umbilical cord was covering the private part. I didn't see her again for the next check because I was down with terrible fever with painful aching bone. So my hub brought me to his panel clinic instead for blood and urine test. We didn't have ultrasound done because the main concern there was to get me tested for the dengue or any other viral infection that causes the fever. So yeah, until this point, I don't have any clue whether I'm having a boy or another girl.

When people asked "is it a boy or girls? have you scan?" and when they are not happy with my answer when i said "belum nampak", they would asked, is this pregnancy any difference from the other 3? Even my sister, the one in the US, up to the point, she asked whether or not I have any dreams about this baby.. ;-)

It's hard for me to tell exactly is this pregnancy different from the previous. Sometimes I feel it's different but then I thought to myself, maybe because I want it to be different this time. And at certain times there are few similarity with the previous ones.

I have to stop worrying to much on this. What really matter the most, the baby is healthy and I hope to have a smooth delivery.

Speaking of delivery, that's the top priority right now. My hub and I haven't decide yet where I should deliver this baby. Is it in private or govt hospital? Where? Which gynae? Why would I want to change my gynae, if you are wondering, I'm not that happy with the current gynae. The only reason why I went to see her is because her place is the nearest from my place. But if I don't have any choice, then she'll be my last option.

Another thing on my list is baby stuffs. Like I mentioned in previous post, we already got rid most of the stuffs and some are at my mom's. I'm still thinking and considering whether I should buy new clothes, baby items and such.

And then we also have to decide about Mia's transportation from school to home during my confinement. It's a bit rushing for my hub to fetch her from his office in PJ to her school in USJ then home, and back to his office, during his 1 hour break. InsyaAllah, Allah has the solution. He eased my worry recently. Apparently, there's this new teacher from her school lives here in the same apartment! Allah knows everything and He knows the best! MasyaAllah!!

That's about it for now. InsyaAllah, if Allah let us know the gender of this baby, I will share the news ;-)
