Prophet Sall-Allahu alaihi wa sallam said:
"All of you are shepherds, and each one is responsible for his flock.
A leader of people is a shepherd over this family, and he is responsible for his flock.
A woman is like a shepherd over her husband's house and children, and she is responsible for them.
And a slave is a guardian of his master's property and is responsible for it.
So all of you are guardians and are responsible for your charges." Al- Bukhari and Muslim.

MonaVie Pulse - A Health Drink

A few months back in 2010, the hub complained of having terrible headache and stiffed neck and only at one side. I thought it was just a migraine.

Brought him to his panel clinic here in Shah Alam. The doctor diagnosed him High Blood! Both he and i were shocked! I mean, he's the person yang jarang sangat marah2 tengking kat budak (tu semua i yang selalu buat) and yet he got high blood.

Then, there this one night, just a few days after he was diagnosed, he was in the bathroom. He came out and and then he started walking around and said his heart is beating really fast and he asked me to take him to hospital. I said what about the kids, who were already asleep at that time. Then he asked me to call our upstairs neighbour. I called and talked to his wife because the neighbor was in the loo.

While waiting for him, i asked the hub to sit down. At first he refused because he said he felt dizzy and scared that he might fell and passed out if he sit. I told him to calm himself and try to sit which he did. After few minutes, he said he felt a bit better.

He called the neighbor again to cancel but he already arrived in front of the house. They talked for few minutes there. Then the hub came back in with a cane and a bottle of drink that looks like a red wine bottle. I asked him what's that. It's MonaVie Pulse. It's a health drink/supplement.

It's so happen that this neighbor is an agent so he asked the hub to give it a try. This is how we started taking it.

The key ingredient

The other blend to the key ingredient

Because of these main ingredient, the drink tastes like a concentrated fruit juice. Very yummylicious (otherwise, do you think i would continue consuming it).

We only have to drink 60ml twice a day, before going to bed and 1st thing in the morning. The glass bottle is 750ml so it can last about 2 weeks. I have 2 bottles with me for a month.

Honestly speaking, i'm not the person that can take supplements on the schedule. And that is also why i don't take contraceptive pills. I just don't have the discipline on this. But this drink is something that i can easily consumed. Just pour and drink. Even the detox drinks are much fussier because you have to mix and shake them.

The benefits that i've gain? More energy! The more i drink it, my bowel movements are better and i feel lighter. It ease my movements and i have all the energy to do my works everyday.

Previously, i always get joint pain at the joint between hip and thigh. This usually happen before getting my period or after that. It's really painful! It's so difficult for me to move around! But after taking MonaVie, dah jarang2 kena sakit mcm tu. Alhamdulillah, all these came from Him.

This Monavie Pulse also contain plant sterol, came from the acai berry, which is mainly to help to lower down cholesterol. That way, it also helps to protect the heart.

It's not a mangosteen drink ya. It's acai berry.

The price per bottle, i find it very reasonable and affordable. Now, I'm just passing on the goodness of this drink. And if you are looking for supplements, not only for yourself but also for the whole family, i would highly recommend MonaVie Pulse.

At the moment, in Malaysia, they only have 2 types, MonaVie Essential and MonaVie Pulse. If you are interested, text or email me.

My BIG Girl Is A BIG Helper!

She helps me a lot these days! Yes, my eldest girl. Am so proud of her.

She now can get ready on her own. Bathe, brush teeth, towel dry and get dress by herself. These started last year during pre school year. She still need me to shampoo her hair though.

On top of that, this year, i can now rely on her to lather soaps on marsya & aj. While Mia started all these last year, marsya on the other hand is quite handy at bathing except for the part that she needs help with soaps. I know now that i started with mia a bit late. Biasa la the 1st child. She got the most attention until the sisters came along.

Whereas, the younger sisters, they tend to follow what the eldest do. That's why they  started do things on their own early. You should see AJ. Although nakal sgt2 but if she doesn't want to wait, (which she normally does) she will get things or do things on her own.

Ok back to mia. When arrived home from school, she will straight away change to house clothes and put away all her school attire into the laundry basket. Then, she'll eat her lunch on her own. Before this, i will suap her together with her sisters. But now since the school hour ends at 1pm, i'd to give marsya and aj their lunch first.

After lunch, she'll do her homeworks. Sometimes i've to remind her, but she'll simply reply "ye, kakak tau la...". Yes, pandai menjawab jugak.

Basically she knows her routine now. Bila nak mandi, bila nak buat itu ini. But i still have to cleaned her when she's in the public loo. That's why i was a bit worried when she's in school. Especially in school, they don't have sitting toilet bowl.

She's also very responsible in taking care of her sisters particularly in the elevator. She'll make sure they are all inside before the door close and make sure they don't come out when the elevator stops at other than our floor.

At certain time, when i was lying down, exhausted, she asked "mummy sakit kat mana? biar kakak picit" and at some other time she asked "mummy, ada apa2 yg kakak boleh tolong".. "it's ok mummy, i'll help you to clean up". Am a very proud mom!

Of course tu ikut masa and mood dia la. Kadang2 she's the one making the big mess while the sisters napping. Ye la boring takde geng. Nak marah kesian but if tak marah it'll be unfair because i selalu marah the sisters whenever they make mess.

It's so easy for me to remind her of her responsibility and to be responsible for her things and also to show good example to her sisters. Because here in the house, i see her as the BIG sister. But when in school, i see her still small, fragile and helpless in the BIG school.

20 days are over... and counting

Texted Hub this morning..

Me: 20 days r over.. Another 20 days to go..
Hub: 18 laa..
Me: I kira2 smlm br 20 ari la.. Cuba kira blk
Hub: I balik 25th, InsyaAllah... so hari ni dh 7th..

Apa2 la dear. Lagi cepat lagi bagus coz mmg dah penat and letih handling the kids by myself.

Next whole week is school break. I don't have plan yet. I have to plan something. Or else stuck in this house with kids for 9 straight DAYS boleh pengsan. So mommies, pls get me out of this house one of this day ya... plssssss... ;-D

Had a great day the other day met up with mommy friends at plainmum's house. We visited her and her new born baby girl. Such an adorable baby. Suka sgt babies especially time2 diorg dok diam2 mcm tu but......... to go through delivery, confinement, badan mcm walrus, and when they turn into mcm2 pe'el tu yg mcm dah give up aje.

Tu belum lagi yg dok melalak dlm car seat! Sigh! Huhuhuhu horor! Mak diorg ni mana reti dok diam2 kat rumah. Bila keluar jalan, tu la major problemnya. Besides, the hub never ask or mention about having another baby so i better not say anything.

Back ti this school break plan, i googled interesting places in shah alam and i'm not surprise when only few came out. The lake Garden, Water Park, Museum, Mosque among them. But Agriculture Park is something interesting. Hope it is as interesting as it look and told in some blogs and pages.

I'll probably try the Lake Garden and the Agriculture Park. A little adventure for the girls and me. Will let you know how it turn out ya. Oh! If sesiapa nak join, jom la.. the more the merrier!
